Ray was brought up listening to the radio. He has a unique passion to make radio feel natural and non-corporate again,
Heavily influenced by his time following great radio stations such as Radio Caroline (which by the way is still a world class independent station), Capital Radio 194 in London, 210FM in Reading and CFNY FM 102.1 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada (before they were swallowed up by huge media organisations and ultimately became homogenised and characterless).
Our Story
In 2018, Ray decided to follow his dream of working in radio and launched The Baseline, his monthly radio show podcast. The Baseline has developed into a regular largely format free show featuring a wide range of music covering different eras and genres. Each show is a musical mystery tour, comprising new music, album tracks and familiar favourites for you to lose yourself in for a couple of hours…
